Surprisingly not a complete waste of time. Horton is a chill dude and you go over some cool topics about computer science. Professors come in and share their research to get you involved with the CS world.
It's a great time to meet up with your fellow computer science peers too. There is absolutely no work and you only meet for 40 minutes a week. I paid attention when I was interested and went to sleep if I stayed up too late the night before. We made KC memes and talked about pornography. It was a good time.
