I recently had the pleasure of taking a course with Professor Burroughs. Unfortunately, my experience with the professor was far from ideal. To start, the professor failed to respond to emails sent in a timely manner. This caused a great deal of frustration and confusion when trying to get additional information about the midterm and final project requirements. Furthermore, the professor was often vague when providing information about the project, leaving me to guess at what was expected and causing me to waste valuable time and energy. I understand that professors are busy, but this lack of communication and clarity was very disheartening and did not make for a positive learning experience overall.
