This was Jiao's first time teaching 2020, and he did a decent job. The lecture slides came right from the textbook though, and there were frequent pop quizzes. However, these quizzes were fairly easy and he allowed our class to drop 4 of the 12 grades. This is a Dutch Knockout class, and that is a good safety net if you mess up on any midterms. Jiao had some communication issues with students, but was well meaning and helpful in my conversations.
