I took this course in the fall semester of my first year with Santugini. The course was pretty difficult for me because the concepts build on top of each other; if you don't understand the first part that well, it will be hard to grasp the more complex concepts. Santugini cares a lot about his students and he provides a lot of practice to grasp the concepts (mini quizzes after lecture, discussion problems, homework problems). My TA was Hadi. He was super nice and covered the discussion problems pretty well in discussion. Prepare to work hard to get a good grade in the class; it's definitely doable.
