The nice part about this lab is that is complements CE 2100 really well. The field trips are pretty fun, and the last lab is pretty fun too! Professor Culver is very hands on during lab time and won't leave you hanging if you have questions. Labwork is mostly manageable if you have good partners. Overall, this cladding is a pretty easy A if you show up and do the work. The only complaint I have is that the TAs can be pretty picky when grading, but they don't take off too many points for small errors.

The labs are a little tricky in the beginning, but get easier further into the semester. The reports are pretty easy as long as you have a good group.

Since you're probably taking this a semester after physics lab, take a sigh of relief because this class is MUCH better than phys 1429 or 2419. The expectations for reports are reasonable, and while I wouldn't say it's easy to do well/get an A, I actually had a good amount of fun in lab. It's paired with CE2100 lecture, so you'll learn stuff in lecture and then apply it in practice in lab, which makes certain concepts easier to grasp. There are also a couple of field trips to different facilities around CVille, which I found very interesting. Just make friends with your lab group and you'll have a good time in this class.
