Professor Slusser is truly my favorite instructor I have had at UVA so far. I have had her for both ASL 1010 and 1020, and I cannot recommend her enough. Even though learning a new language is difficult, she is so engaging and encouraging, it made it fun. If you actively participate and practice, you will do great in this class.
