Interesting class ruined by a bad professor. Rogers is obviously passionate about the material but was impossible to follow in lecture, forcing students to basically teach themselves ahead of the exams. When asked about timelines, assignments, and extra credit opportunities, Rogers was dismissive and unconcerned. Really disappointing because the class made material that should have been fascinating just boring, confusing, and stressful due to a lack of clarity about expectations for exams. There are MUCH better classes and professors in the art history department- take something else.
