Professor Harold is amazing, Black Fire is one of the most eye opening classes I've taken at UVA, my advice for this class would be to follow the readings well because you'll learn more. It's a pretty big class so it's hard to get the one on one information you get in a twenty person class and she's a very popular and busy professor so it will be hard to discuss material outside of class but don't get me wrong she cares about her students she'll find a way to meet with you if needed!
