Though I finished this course with an A, this class was extremely frustrating to navigate. The lectures were poorly organized, making it hard to follow along or take meaningful notes. The slides were overloaded with text, and the pace of the lectures made it nearly impossible to jot anything down before the slide changed.
Assignment deadlines were another huge issue. Due dates would change frequently with little to no warning, and Canvas was rarely updated to reflect those changes. It became a guessing game trying to figure out what was actually due and when. Many assignments listed multiple conflicting due times — for example, Canvas would show one time (like 5:00pm), the assignment instructions would say 11:59pm, and then a completely different time elsewhere making it incredibly confusing.
The midterm and final were also unnecessarily difficult due to how the course was set up. You're expected to write essays citing previous readings, but once the assignment window closes, you can no longer access those readings. Unless you took word-for-word notes on the readings or have them downloaded, you're out of luck.
Overall, the lack of organization made what could’ve been an interesting course feel chaotic and unnecessarily stressful.
