Prof. Odumosu is alright. He's encouraging, understanding, and a fair grader. I don't think I got a lot out of his class though. He didn't really explain STS concepts well enough to make me understand or want to learn more about them.

Prof. Tolu is the man! He's one of the only STS professors that actually has an Engineering degree! He may not know what's going on in civil engineering, but he makes an effort to nail down the basics.

Prof. Tolu is extremely helpful in understanding STS topics and facilitating discussion. He has a wonderful sense of humor and has mostly reasonable expectations. He works with the class to make as many people comfortable as possible.

The class is sometimes stressful. Especially if you don't know what your STS research topic is going to be. MAKE SURE YOU DO THE READINGS and understand them, or else writing your prospectus and coming up with a topic will be impossible.

Prof Tolu is great at helping you write a thesis, he's super encouraging, and he makes sure the assignments are geared towards actually moving closer to a final product- your prospectus. He doesn't ask for ungodly amounts of pages or references in your writing or bibliographies, but he does want you to actually read and understand the sometimes difficult readings.

Overall, STS will stretch you, but not so much as other professors whose reviews I'll let speak for themselves. Your classmates in other classes will envy you for getting Tolu Odumosu.
