STS is a class that is very professor dependent class, so depending on who you get, your class experience will vary. I had Matthew Henderson and I had a great time. Matthew Henderson is a very lenient grader and is super chill person. Seems there's only one other review for him for STS 1500, but I assure you, this class was NOT a 5 level difficulty lol. Take the class with Henderson if you can.

The lecture portion of the class gets quite boring, especially with Carlson lecturing. But quizzes are a breeze if you do the readings and have basic common sense. Matt Henderson's lab section was pretty chill. Overall, not bad for a required E-school course.
