Prof. Whitehouse has a very peculiar sense of humor. It manages to be both dry and entertaining. There are 3 or 4 simple homework assignments throughout the entire class. All four combined approximate the difficulty of a single Embedded Systems or Algorithms assignment. The tests are much trickier. He gives a few preparatory questions in class through his slides, but they don't always match the tests. He also gives you the choice to read at home and never go to class in case you find his lecturing dry or have better things to do. Overall, he's a very chill dude. The material was easy to digest, but I never felt it was useless.
