Professor V really cares about her students - she learns the names of everyone in her class even though the class size is 70+. She will help you a ton, if you put the effort into her class. She is very knowledgable.
She teaches in a flipped classroom, meaning you watch the lectures outside of class and do the HW in class with other students and with professor/TA assistance. I liked it, but it may not be for everyone.
Tests draw right off the HW and discussion questions, and are very fair. Everything is book learning, so unfortunately no programming assignments. She does try to keep it interactive by using programs like wireshark.

The professor is very knowledgable about the material and explains it very clearly in lectures. Tests are adequate to prepare for since all test questions come straight from homework assignments and discussion questions posted online. Homework is relatively easy if you follow the lectures and ask for help when needed.

Good teacher for the first half of class, but then she started rushing through the harder material.
