Professor Anderson is not a "fun" professor by any means. That being said, he is also SO smart and has a lot to say about the assigned texts. You read a couple books/poems throughout the semester. Each day in class you basically have an open conversation about the assigned chapters/poems where he guides a lot of the conversation. Besides the assigned reading for homework the only other assignments are 3 papers (6 page minimum). So I guess you can say the workload for this course isn't that bad in that there aren't any projects or exams, but the class could get pretty boring at times and tended to run on. I took this class during the COVID 19 outbreak so the second half of the course was taught online. Professor Anderson isn't the most technologically savvy man, so if this course is online again don't expect to receive much guidance/feedback.
