I might have a biased opinion on this class just because I am so done with Spanish here at UVA, but it wasn't great, but it wasn't the worst. My SPAN 2010 class was super easy, so that might of also added to why I thought this SPAN 2020 class was so much more time-consuming. Professor West is nice, but I personally felt she graded harshly for literally no reason. I also don't love how much the Spanish department assigned in general this semester. For SPAN 2010 in the fall of 2020, we had a lot of projects and quizzes, but for SPAN 2020 we had a lot of projects, quizzes, and final/midterm. It just felt like so much for no reason. I'm ending the class with an A- which I feel is pretty standard for Spanish classes because an A is 95+. I think Professor West is a pretty good option, but that is simply because I don't know if there are better options out there. #tCFspring2021
