Professor Pendergrass was definitely one of the best professors I have had both in Sociology and at the university in general. She is passionate about the topic, easily to get along with, and she is extremely helpful if you go to her office hours. This was one class that I actually felt excited about going to. Be sure to engage and participate in discussions, emphasize quality in your weekly responses, and take good notes, and you should get a well-earned A. If you can't take this course with Professor Pendergrass, I would suggest taking at least one other with her before graduating!

Pendergrass is awesome! Highly recommended class, not very difficult just make sure to engage in the class discussions.
