Greg Goering is awesome. I hope if anyone is signing up for classes they choose to take him. Although I have not received a grade for his course yet, I will say, regardless of grade, I would take the class again. He is really caring about his students and extraordinarily energetic. I really really respect his perspective and grading style. Fair and generous. Couldn't rave more about him. Take him to fulfill a requirement or just for fun.

Great class and fun professor! Readings from the bible and weekly postings on collab (easy). Mostly lecture and group collaboration during class so class participation is important. It's a fun class and you'll learn a lot. Mid-term has vocab and essay (if you take good notes and do the readings you'll be fine) final is similar to the mid-term but longer. You have to give/read a speech (in prophetic style) at the end of the semester, but it's graded by your peers and not too intense. Highly recommend this class.
