MSE 3060 is already a notoriously hard class, but the fact that Howe was teaching it made it basically impossible. He has no idea how to teach and lecture basically consisted of him pointing at random things on scanned textbook pages.

Howe mostly just stands at the front and reads off the textbook, which makes the material hard to learn. Exams are not the most fun, but they are doable. Homeworks are rare, and difficult, but graded on a credit/no credit basis which makes then pretty low pressure. There are pop quizzes though which are not enjoyable.
