Super funny and cool prof who is obviously very knowledgable about everything Milton. Although she is the type of professor who thinks that their way is always correct. If taking her class be sure to understand how she wants assignments done because she will give you bad grades if you don't do things the way she wants them done. However I have found that she just wants you to break down the poetry into basically simple paraphrases and just explain what is going on instead of doing any major interpretive thought of the text. Pretty easy stuff when you get the hang of what exactly she is expecting.

Prof Kinney is really smart but this was much more of a lecture than a discussion class. I really don't like when "discussion" is just about trying to read a professor's mind about what the "right" answer is. However, the writing assignments (weekly responses, one paper, and the take-home final) weren't terrible at all, and reading Milton is fun and interesting if you have the energy to pay attention (which by the end of the semester you won't)
