Professor Hurley is one of the best English professors that I have had a UVA. Due to her my analytical skills have greatly increased and I have become a better writer. She offers refreshing insights into texts and really encourages students to think about the meaning of literature in different ways. This class has taught me how to connect different parts of literature that I normally would not have thought of. She is great!
