This is one of the harder classes you'll take in terms of the material, but it's pretty laid back otherwise. Friesen is a great professor and is accessible and flexible which helps a lot.

Tough class. You have to submit questions about the readings in class everyday. Study hard and read the book closely.

A very small class, which is good. But also a very difficult class. Lots of information to memorize. A 4th year in the class going on to medical school said it was the most difficult class he had taken at UVa. I don't agree, but it is in my top three.
