This class is great if you have any interest in movies and understanding the theory involved with filmmaking, as well as the ways in which film as an art form has evolved over the years. Professor Marshall is engaging and enthusiastic, while the movie selection is varied and well-chosen.

Professor Marshall is great! If you love cinema, I can't recommend this class enough! It was an easy A, but I feel like my life has been much more enriched compared to something like a foreign language or other area requirements. There are two tests and one paper, with some easy assignments sprinkled throughout. I was introduced to some great classic films!
