The class is very enjoyable if you are dedicated to it. I was very lucky and had a motivated class which didn't make the class awkward at all. Content-wise, the class isn't hard. You have to write a few writing responses and the word count isn't mentioned for those. You also have to write one essay about a performance you see which is only about 3 pages long. Additionally, you have to learn and present a monologue as well as a scene with a partner which is the final project. As part of the final, you also have to write two reflections but both of those don't have a word count mentioned either. Cadey is great and passionate about what she teaches. I highly recommend the class if you are interested in theater, need to fulfill a requirement or want a break from your day. I learned a lot with a more than reasonable work load.
