Worst class I've taken at UVA. Professor Khan is not a bad person but that's about the only kind thing I can say about Computer Architecture with her. The lectures are horrendous and assume some background knowledge on the subject that is impossible to have given that 2150 is the only pre-requisite, the assignments are difficult to an asinine degree, and the communication on behalf of Khan and the TAs was lackluster at best and nonexistant at worst. Some of the decisions after the online transition were completely nonsensical, such as requiring us to comment on others' projects on Piazza which led to a cluttered mess where it was impossible to find announcements from the course staff.

If you have to take CS3330, do it with literally any other professor. Khan is probably great at research for the university, but she has no business teaching an undergraduate course, especially when she seems to defer all of the duties to the teaching assistants who are hardly qualified to teach either.

The course structure would have been fine if the professor actually taught the course. Khan was a disappointing professor that refused to help students at office hours with lab or homework. If anything, I think I learned more from the cmu course lecture videos online (which this course was restructured on) than what she actually taught in class. This course is basically a self taught course as you kind of just have to figure everything out on your own and hope that you can get enough help from the TAs (who are the only saviors of this course as they pretty much ran everything: Piazza, grades, lab, etc.).

Horrible professor, take with anyone else, she and Charles team taught it and I never learned anything in her lectures. If someone asked a question she was never able to answer it and would turn to Charles even if he wasn't suppose to be teaching that lecture.
One of the worst professors I have had in the CS department. I learned nothing in the class and faked my way through every lab.
