Many say that this class is "super easy" and a gpa booster class, but this class turned out to be the most difficult this semester. if you don't have previous experience with html and cs and algorithms, I advise that you don't take this class. "CS" is a new language that may be hard to follow if you don't have previous experience.

This class is really easy if you approach it right. Do well on the homeworks and come to lecture and you'll be sure to get an A. Don't underestimate the two midterms; take them seriously and do well on them and you don't have to take the final. The TA Annamalai Muthiah is awful, I recommend working with someone else in the class if you're confused as the TA is just terrible and useless.
This class is really easy if you have a basic knowledge of computers, but we still learned some really useful stuff. Go to class and you'll get an A.
Easy-ish class. No reading, just focus on what he says in lecture.
This class is definitely one of the best I"ve taken at UVA. Tests are real easy and I'd say 95% of what you need to know is on the powerpoint slides. Reading is not required-so don't do it unless you really feel ambitious/want to learn more. Cettei flat out tells you at the beginning he doesn't test on the reading, so don't bother buying the book. Cettei is hilarious and has a great sense of humor, which makes class that much more interesting. Hardest part about the class would be the graded homeworks, which still aren't that bad as long as you put in the time. Definitely take this class if you want an easy A, want to obtain a basic knowledge of computers and information technology, and want to have a few laughs in the classroom
Great class. I didn't know how do anything coming in and learned a lot coming out. I didn't have to try too hard or read. Going to class and doing the homeworks were enough. Also, best late policy of any class I've ever had. 1 day- 2% off 2nd day- 4%, 3-8%, 4-16% (exponentially).
EASY
recommend for those with low computer proficiency
Most helpful course on computer basics I've ever taken. Cettei is a great professor, explains things very intuitively. The tests are surprisingly tricky, you actually have to study a little.
Easy if you have a basic understanding of common computer programs like Excel and Access
