I really enjoyed this class and got a lot out of it. The tests are really easy, and you don't need to buy/read the book at all. Some homework's take some time, but none are very hard.

Cettei can be funny. Tests are straight forward. The textbook isn't necessary. You can get an A if you listen during lectures.
easy class. really enjoyed the professor
Nice guy. Interesting topic he lays out simply.
Great class, learned so much nessesary information and didn't even have to worry about grades because it was so easy.
this class was supposed to be easy and while most of the material was stuff i already knew, there was a little new info. the homeworks were easy but when it got to the tests there were some tricky questions.
pretty boring but you dont need to go to class often. final is optional which is nice.
Cettei is a great guy but his lectures are just really boring. People are just on Facebook the entire time but he is very knowledgeable and fair. Harder than people make it out to be but read the powerpoints and study the coding examples and you'll get an A.
DO NOT BUY THE BOOK! All the material you need to know on the midterms are from his lectures. That said, pay attention to the lectures and take notes, don't think that you can just breeze by this class. Take your time on the homeworks and make it nice and stuff. This class is easy if you approach it right, so make sure you put in an honest effort and you will get an A. There were 2 midterms, optional final (to make up for a bad midterm grade), in class participation quizes and about 8 homework sets.
Not as easy of an A as everyone says it is. It is doable though, I did end up with an A but it took some work. The homeworks that are due every week take 2-4 hours and some can be pretty challenging. The exams aren't too bad. Just follow the previous exams he puts on Collab. Not a great lecturer but going to class helps. He itches his eye way too much.
