The entire class is based on how well you do in the tournament - other than the last three weeks its literally just copying videos of his code. Be warned, when he says the project is graded soley on how well you do he's not kidding. He never explains precisely how he grades the thing but I figured out I must've gotten a D on it even though we put in a lot of time and had a lot of unique functionality. My advice - just copy his code verbatim and change like one small thing for the tournament, trust me you'll do ok. It's crazy but apparently that is rewarded more than working hard and exploring new and difficult ways of doing things. Don't waste a month of your life for no reason like I did, I literally would've been given a higher grade if I didn't show up to the tournament and I put over 100 man hours into this thing.

DO NOT MESS UP THE FINAL PROJECT.

Got perfect scores on every homework, but final project was a flop and ended up severly affecting my GPA that semester.

The class has a lot of content without overworking you, especially in the beginning. The last two weeks takes a lot of time with the final project (3~5 hours per day, 3~5 days a week), so definitely start early.

If you have an interest in prop trading, Sales and Trading, capital markets and etc. I think you'd find this class interesting!

Good, but the final project was huge.

Great teacher. Class picks up VERY quickly half way into semester. Be sure to start the final project early and hit it hard...It will be the defining factor in your grade & everyone underestimates how long it will take. One of the best undergrad classes out there.

Class easy at beginning. Course project took about 80 hours to complete in 1 month. Really ramped up at the end.
