Awesome professor. Very understanding, supportive of students, explains concepts in a way that makes a lot of sense. I find accounting a bit bland but thought this class was interesting. Assignments are graded fairly with partial credit awarded for showing work on midterms. Not a terribly difficult class to do well in if you apply yourself. Really not a lot of work outside of class.

Backof is the best Accounting Prof in Comm. She's extremely approachable and will explain anything in detail if you ever get lost. If you are able to make her class fit in you're schedule you should.
