Prof Costa is really nice and this class is not hard at all. If you just read the slides she posts on Canvas and do average on the exams you will be fine. Lectures are ocassionally boring because Prof Costa is funny and keeps the mood up. If you're taking COMM 1800, take it with Prof Costa.

I'm not pre-comm (general business minor) & I enjoyed this course! Assignments are fairly straightforward and the material was interesting, but not difficult- most of it was expanding on topics I had heard of before, but didn't really know the details of, so it was nice to go a little more in depth. I'd definitely recommend this course and Professor Costa for anyone interested in business! #tCFS25

Prof. Costa is incredible! She makes class so engaging and enjoyable, and as someone who is not Pre-Comm, I was genuinely interested in the content. There is barely any work outside of class besides some book reading (mostly optional), 3 cases studies, and 6 easy, open-note quizzes. Her tests are very straight forward and if you study and memorize the content straight from the slides you will be set. The final is also weighed like a normal test and non cumulative. TOTALLY RECOMMEND!
