Lovely professor... absolutely lovely! She's extremely nice and made the (sometimes) dull readings extremely engaging in class. I will say, you should enjoy discussion, otherwise I don't recommend this to you. You need to talk in order to get an A (just say something 1-2 times a class... which isn't hard). There's a really long paper at the end of the semester, but she grades it super easy as long as you put in the effort. For me, it was an easy A.

Professor Geddes is awesome. Her classes tend to focus on negativity, but she is a very fun person who is also very knowledgeable in her area. I feel like her COLA class taught me a lot and impacted the way I view the world, and I looked forward to it each week. The workload is beyond manageable- one short (10-20 pages, usually) reading a week and then a paper and presentation at the end.
