Awesome class. Wasn't interested in the subject but was still able to get an A with the awesome study guides that are given out. Paper was hard for me though.

If you're not into Roman history, this class is quite boring. If you don't sit in the first few rows you'll fall asleep, especially if it's an early class. I enjoyed the class but only because I was familiar with the topics and was interested in knowing more. My friends had some trouble staying awake though. I enjoyed the discussions and highly recommend Garvey.

As a classics major, it wasn't a tough class, though I know a few people who had issues with the concepts.
