Professor Brannelly was a really nice guy, but not a good teacher. Lectures were boring and difficult to follow. There was a great deal of reading every night and there were quizzes every day based on those readings (he picked the most minute details to ask questions on). Aside from this, the content of the course was extremely interesting. Definitely not a GPA booster, so unless you are interested in classics, do NOT take this course with this professor.
