Fields really knows what she is talking about. This class is the first of the type that I have ever taken, and I am really fortunate to have had Fields. She really knows her stuff about environmental ethics and justice. Her lectures can be kind of boring, because of all of the information. It is hard to pay attention the whole time. The readings are a lot, but she even tells you to skim. There are bi/tri weekly reading responses, and some sort of paper or final project. She is very accessible and flexible with turning in things. Just come to class, stay engaged, and speak every once in awhile and you will be golden.
