Took Black Women and Mass Incarceration with Professor LeFlouria. In addition to being so welcoming, kind, and understanding, she is such an expert in her field. She really cares about her students learning. There were no exams, just weekly discussion questions on the readings. Instead of a research paper, we had to do 25 hours of internship work. It was great, we all learned a lot and got to add something to our resumes. Very heavy reading, but it's really okay if you don't get to all of it some weeks, since the class is just discussion. Such a great person to learn from :)
