He was a great professor, the subject matter is just difficult.
Gerrans is so sweet, and genuinely cares about you and the material. His tests are 60% multiple choice/ 40% free response, and doesn't fly through the material as other professors do. If you have to take orgo or just want to, take Gerrans.
Gerrans is a good professor. Tells you everything you need to know. Trick to doing well on the tests is doing practice problems.
Gerrans is a very good professor. His notes are very detailed and amazing. An A is attainable with studying and putting in good in a good amount of studying for each test.
First off, I love Gus. He is so cute and so nice. However, he is very very monotonic and make sure to drink coffee before or during class. He tries to help, though, with cute analogies. To do well on his tests just memorize everything. Memorize the lecture notes & the practice tests.
Gerrans is a fantastic professor. This class requires time-management and study skills, but is manageable.
i love gerrans, i feel like i actually learned in lecture which has never happened before. took it this summer....it was killer but i definitely suggest it.
This class is a Pre-requisite for premed students, but Gerrans is a great teacher. Not as easy as Burnett and he can sound a little boring, but he is a very good teacher and understands the material well. He conveys topics well, and it is a very lecture-oriented class with most test questions coming from lectures. Hard tests but fair and curve is generous
Couldn't get into Burnett's section? It's not the end of the world. Gerrans is definitely the next best option. He presents the material very clearly, if you take good notes you won't need the textbook except for the practice problems. Exams will have a couple questions from left field but are straightforward for the most part.
