The course is very challenging and definitely not a fluff, elective class. That being said, if you are interested in working in Biomaterials/ Implants the class is very comprehensive and the professor is very knowledgeable. I personally, didn't enjoy the class because I felt like the criteria for success were not well defined, and I consistently scored lower than I expected. This class wasn't for me, but that doesn't mean someone else may not enjoy it.
