This is probably the best class I've ever taken; I'd take it again if I could. The information is really interesting and the class discussions are fun and interactive. Unlike most classes, everything you do in this class is something that can be applied to your own life, which is usually what the assignments are (one of the homework assignments was to do a 20 minute body scan which is basically napping like hell yeah, man). Because it's only a 2-credit course, I was thinking there wouldn't be a lot of work, but I actually spent a good amount of my time this semester doing assignments for this class. However, I was totally okay with it because the material/assignments are fun and interesting. There are usually readings for each class that you should be ready to discuss the next time the class meets, and a reflection/blog post each week. The learning plan is a long-term assignment and isn't that difficult and the final project is really fun and is a group assignment. The class itself has actually helped me to do better in school in general and fix my bad habits (changing how I study, sleeping habits, etc.) which is really exciting. The professor is also funny and really nice! I would definitely recommend this class!
