The class, at least for our session, was based entirely off of discussion grades during the class period, which meant you had to do the reading, but it was definitely an easy, interesting class if you're interested in genomic history. Wormington was very enthusiastic and fun, and tried to make the scientific papers we read as understandable as possible. Great class!

This was a great class. We learned so much about stem cells, IPSCs, cloning, etc. and not only did we take a biological approach to understanding them, but we had discussions on the religious and ethical aspects to them as well. Wormington's great and is really knowleageable and open-minded towards everyone's opinion. He loves to play devil's advocate which makes it more enjoyable. There were occasional 5-paged papers but as long as you know what you're talking about, he'll give you an A.
Don't take this because it is easy. Take it because Wormington knows how to teach. Plain and simple, the man is an expert. He really relates to the students and engages them in meaningful and thought provoking discussions. Not an overload, not to hard, this class is just right. It is a great way to venture out and learn something new without being overloaded with pointless work.
Mr. Wormington is so cool and funny. He loves to relate to the students. His class also has a very laid-back atmosphere, and the material is interesting and not at all difficult.
I took his seminar on Genetics and Bioethics. He is fantastic, and the material is all very very interesting. Classes are very discussion based, and he is a master at leading the discussion just where he wants it to go. Highly reccomended.
