Professor Mayes is amazing. Class was 2 hours long but never felt like it. His class is so interesting and engaging, and he assigns really good readings and videos for homework. There's a paper due every week but it's one page and just an analysis/commentary of what you read and watched for the week. Easily my most interesting class this semester. Only downside is that the final exam is a test or paper - you choose - and the paper is very long and single spaced. Overall, I would recommend anyone to take the class, regardless of your background in heath care.
