Mark White is an incredible professor. Very approachable and extremely intelligent. His grading will seem harsh and he won't give you clear rubrics, but in the end he is fair and generous. Students often find him frustrating because he won't give the simple, straight answers that public education has conditioned us to seek. He'll prompt discussion, force you to think, and he will call you out when you bullshit. Professor White will present an entirely new framework for thinking about the world and teach you a ton. I highly recommend this class.
