This class isn't bad, but takes a good amount of work. The weekly quizzes are pretty draining, and there are three big semester long projects. These projects are good in that they force you to apply the concepts to real data, but they are a pain in the butt, so give yourself plenty of time. Brown only came to a few classes, so Barnes and a grad student taught most of the time. Barnes is not engaging at all but seems to understand what's going on.
