This was the Race, Gender and Diversity in the Engineering Workplace course, was actually taught by Willie Williams, not Dean Gates.
For an STS 2500, I really enjoyed this class and would recommend it. The topics are interesting, especially coming off of the Unite the Right rally in August, and it's an easy class. Your only important grades are two essays (5 pages, semi-research paper semi-reflection) and a final group presentation. Good to fulfill the requirement, don't know if I would have taken it otherwise.
