-> Do you constantly talk about your infatuation with outer space and how you would like to one day go to space, like the Space Core from Portal 2? Do you like NASA!?
Of course you do, so take this genuinely fun, not too time consuming, and worthwhile class for your STS elective credit!

-> How is the professor, grading, and workload?
Messeri is a great professor and knows her stuff. If you enjoy discussing outer space, this class is for you. Geeking out about NASA's awesomeness is perfectly acceptable, and you will get a good amount of insightful articles to read about space before each lecture. You get to talk about aliens, Mars, Afrofuturism, Pluto, Star Trek, the moon, and a lot more! The grading is very fair and as long as it's clear you put in work and did your best, you'll get a good grade. Your grade is broken down into participation, some writing assignments, a group podcast, a brief presentation, and a final paper (2500 words). No tests or final exams! Make sure to participate and say a few things in each lecture; Messeri notices who speaks and who does not, and will notice if you're not in class. That being said, she's very fair and her class is out of this world.

What are you waiting for!? Enroll and enjoy, you won't regret it.
