I loved this class. Going to class is pretty useless, so most people just don't. There are three group projects throughout the semester which are all pretty interesting. The first was to investigate the relationship between mother and fetus on the basis of heart rate. The second was to model handwritten digits from the MNIST handwritten digit database. The third was to predict and classify stocks from the S&P 500 index. Keenan is a very generous grader, so it is hard not to do well in this class.
