I was really looking forward to this class and was disappointed. Sara Park mainly just reads off of the slides. She is such a sweet person outside of class and you can tell that she is trying her best, but I personally hated the way the class was taught. I had to take the class for my major so I ended up pushing through. The tests were annoying and worth very few points (I think 40) so if you missed a few points your grade was already set back. I barely got an A in this class and I consider myself to be more than proficient in Spanish. Also, if you asked her a question in Spanish she would respond in English or take a long time to respond in Spanish which made it feel like she was not very comfortable speaking unless she was reading off of the slides. I counted down the minutes until the class was over every day. Definitely a complete switch-up because I LOVED my Spanish class and professor the semester before. This was the first time I dreaded coming to class every day, which if you know that feeling, it is tough to stick it out for an entire semester.
