Professor Poveda is a phenomenal instructor who really wants her students to succeed in the course by understanding the content and excelling in the writing and grammar assignments. The essay grades are divided into various parts in order to encourage students to improve their writing through peer and instructor feedback prior to submitting the final version. Additionally, the professor is very responsive and always available to answer questions or explain concepts during and outside of office hours. I'd definitely recommend taking this course!
