Ortiz was a bit unexperienced, but grades were definitely augmented at the end of the semester because of this. The class was definitely a struggle at the beginning of the year, but as the semester progressed, it got better as Ortiz became more used to teaching. While taking the class, I thought it was terrible, but looking back, the professor just needed to get used to teaching. As for the subject material, it was a bit boring, as expected. Coming from a student who got an A, proofread your essays MANY times, don't worry too much about thegrammar on the examenes parciales because they aren't too hard, and read the assigned readings VERY thoroughly or you will get tricked on tests and quizzes.
