I didn't learn a lot about grammar and vocab in this class, but I did learn a lot about different parts of Spanish culture, which was nice. I have always disliked the Spanish grading style, as it is kind of challenging to receive an A, but I felt Jesus Benitez was a very kind grader, so I might actually get an A. The projects were annoying but tolerable, and once again, graded pretty easily. We weren't graded on our actual immediate knowledge of Spanish very heavily in our overall grade, with no tests, and quizzes only being 10% and speaking assessments also being 10%. I would recommend this class if you need it for a requirement, but maybe not if you genuinely want to learn the language.
