SPAN 2010 and Spanish class in general are a lot of work. However, I think that SPAN 2010 is a lot easier than SPAN 1060, especially with Julianna. She is a wonderful professor. She is understanding, kind, and not particularly difficult. Definitely take this class with Julianna, she is the best!

Professor White is a great teacher! She encourages participation in class and is clear about what to expect on assessments. Instead of simply assigning busy-work, she assigns things that will actually reinforce the material and make studying easier.

SPAN 2010 has a different approach to learning than SPAN 1060. While both are technically flipped classrooms, 1060 included grammar instruction and practice in-class but 2010 focused on applying the grammar concepts in casual conversation. The change in lecture would have been completely fine, but the online homework did not give you enough of an opportunity to practice the concept you read about. Even though I thought the course design was weird, Prof. White was the best professor for me. She helped us as much as she could with practicing the new grammar concepts, and she even reviewed new concepts in class if we were clearly confused or struggling. I would definitely recommend taking Prof. White's lecture for SPAN 2010

Professor White was a great professor who made the class really fun and enjoyable. She really wants her students to succeed and is very helpful with questions and always happy to meat with you. There is a lot of busy work but it actually helps you learn the material. It is very clear what you are expected to know for the exams and she helps you review as well.
