This is by far THE WORST class I've taken since being here. It's required for Soc majors and stats is already hard enough -- Gorman didn't make it any better. Literally, almost everyone in the class was confused the whole semester and relied on our TA's for help. Finishing the exams was almost impossible, she posted slides whenever she pleased (even though you need the slides to complete the homework), and at times it appeared that she didn't know what she was talking about; whenever someone asked a question in class, she would stand there like a deer in headlights and then repeat what she just said, instead of actually elaborating. This whole class was stupid, useless and a headache. The course consisted of about 11 problem sets, 2 midterms and a final. If you're taking this with Gorman, I would HIGHLY recommend actually buying the book, going to your TA's office hours, and using Google.
